Montreal and Montebello
Thursday, Jacques and my niece became a mother. Béatrice was born in the early afternoon. We are great uncle and aunt!!! Maybe, we'll get to see them today!
This morning, Tit-Minou wanted to go out as soon as I'd served myself a coffee so I slipped on my rubber boots and we toured the yard inspecting shrubs and flower beds making mental lists of things to clean, trim, and snip. As we arrived at the front of the house, we heard the gobble of wild turkeys in the fields. I saw a flock of about 30 turkeys once last fall for the very first time here. There is a thick pea soup kind of fog this morning, and I could here the regular morning choir made up of cardinals, red-wing back birds, and robins. But then, I heard a gobble cry. And then twice more. Unmistakable!!! There are no turkey farmers here so they had to be wild.
