Brunch at Susy's

We went for brunch at Susy's. Guy and Pedro drove up for the first time in 12 years. Hard to believe because we drop by their place regularily. Fun was had by all. Lots of laughs...incredible food. Susy always amazes me by trying out new recipes for company. Always a hit. She even served pickled herring along with a delicious oven omelet, wonderful cheeses, homemade muffins ( which I forgot to sample), fresh fruit, strong coffee, white wine...just perfect to brighten up a November Sunday.

Souris is getting to be a cool kitty. She and Tite-Minou are making Spike's passing smoother. 

My students decided they wanted to make cloth bags to sell to encourage people to give up plastic bags. Here I am, sewing a prototype. I get that old Singer out every 4 or 5 ears or so and every time, it's an adventure. Where does the thread go? How do I put thread on the little bobbin? 

Caught in the act!!! And then she drips all over the hardwood floors. 

Just like a toddler, Souris can play in the sink with running water forever.
